Terms of use
Last updated October 7, 2026.
These terms cover your use of startupstead.com, which is run by Esence Pvt Ltd ("we"). By using the site you accept them. They are short on purpose.
Using the site
StartupStead is free to read and use. You may read, share and link to any page. You may quote short passages with a link back to the source page. Please don't copy whole articles or republish them elsewhere, including through automated scraping for resale.
Not professional advice
Articles explain how things generally work. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and reading them does not make us your adviser. Rules differ by country and change often. Before you sign, file or pay based on something you read here, check with a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep every article accurate and every price dated, as the editorial policy explains. Even so, prices, products and rules change, and an article can be out of date or wrong. Check the live terms with the provider before you buy anything.
The free tools
The calculators give estimates from the numbers you enter and the published prices we hold, with the date they were checked. They are a starting point for a decision, not a quote or a forecast. What you type stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
Links to other sites
Articles link to other companies' sites, and some of those links earn us a commission, as how we make money explains. We don't control those sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. Anything you buy is between you and the company that sells it.
Liability
The site is provided as it is, without any promise that it is complete, current or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from relying on it. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page moves.
